Elemental Hatha Yoga for Pregnancy udemy course

Learn prenatal yoga with the Elements by using prenatal-safe yoga postures for maintaining a healthy pregnancy.

Elemental Yoga is a form of Hatha yoga guided by the Elements of Nature and based on Elemental Meridian theory. This system of yoga aims to bring union or harmony to the 5-elements within the body/mind constitution (Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, Space).

In this video series, we focus on applying a methodology for prenatal yoga with the Elements by using prenatal-safe yoga postures for maintaining a healthy pregnancy, keeping mum and baby in harmony and constitutionally balanced.

This series is appropriate for anyone desiring a gentle yoga practice and/or for expectant mum's who are in their all trimesters of pregnancy.

This course covers the following 5 elemental sequences to improve the flow of energy through specific meridian pathways:

  • The Earth sequence brings harmony to the spleen and stomach meridians, which can cultivate feelings of groundedness, awareness, centeredness, safety, home & nourishment.

  • The Water sequence brings harmony to the bladder and kidney meridians, which can cultivate feelings of sensuality, potential, flow, balance, equanimity, cleansing, nurturing and truth.

  • The Fire sequence brings harmony to the small intestine and heart meridians, which can cultivate feelings of joy, acceptance, creativity, devotion, purification, transformation, power and healthy desire.

  • The Wind sequence brings harmony to the lungs and large intestine meridians, which can cultivate feelings of adaptability, spontaneity, positivity, inspiration, letting go, change and vitality.

  • The Space sequence brings harmony to the gall bladder and liver meridians, which can cultivate feelings of vision, possibility, direction, risk, belief and faith.
