The course " Etabs Structural Detailing Project using [Autocad & RCDC]" is designed by keeping budding Civil Engineers in mind who are coming across Autocad Software for the very first time. The approach has been laid out such that anyone with any interest in the software can master it.

The course starts out with a basic introduction, followed by an in-depth explanation of Draw tools and Modify tools that cover over 35+ AutoCAD commands. By the end of this course, you will be able to design a 2D plan as per your client's convenience and will be able to hand over the drawings in a professional manner.

You will be taught how to create a plan from scratch. How to manually create Doors, windows, and furniture in AutoCAD. Along with how to just import blocks of doors, windows, and furniture of various kinds to save time. The course is still under construction and future updates will cover how to carry out sheet setup.  How to create your own layouts, etc.

Note: This course is not intended to teach Etabs software. A separate in depth course is available for it on this platform. This course is designed to teach students how to carry out detailing for an Etabs Project by using Autocad and RCDC.

What can you expect from this course?

1. Etabs Project: (G+4 Project is covered in Etabs 21) [Project 1]

One Complete IIT Project is carried out which includes modeling, load application, and structural design as per IS code book. The manual calculation file has also been included for your reference.

2. Complete RCDC Software is Covered [Project 2]

My recommendation would be to watch this course first if you have no idea about this software. This will help you generate about 90% of your structural drawings from Etabs results. The rest 10% is to be edited by us in Autocad software based upon client requirements. This part is covered in the course as well.

3. Manual Detailing using Etabs Results: [ Project 3]

How to group, and manipulate detailing values from Etabs so that we can get a safe and economical design of the structure.

3. Autocad: [Project 4 and 5]

35+ AutoCAD Architectural Commands are covered in this course which will help you carry out the architectural drawing of your client's project. These are mini projects to help you get a better handling of Autocad tools.
