Course Description: Maximo Tips for Enhanced Efficiency
Welcome to the Maximo Tips course, a comprehensive collection of insights and strategies gathered over 15 years of hands-on experience with Maximo, spanning versions from 3.1 to 7.6. This course is designed for both new and experienced users looking to maximize their efficiency and effectiveness with Maximo.
My journey began as a planning engineer in the Maximo department, where I honed my skills and eventually became the department head. Throughout my career, I developed an electronic system to edit GL accounts for the financial department, which was successfully integrated into Maximo by our administrator. My programming expertise, particularly in Visual Basic .NET, has allowed me to design numerous applications tailored to my company’s needs.
One of my proudest creations is the Maximo Personal Tool, a user-friendly application that simplifies access to Maximo. With this tool, users can log in once and maintain access throughout the day without the need to re-enter their password. The Personal Tool includes the most commonly used Maximo applications, such as Work Order, PM, Labor, Location, PR, PO, and Start Center, allowing for seamless navigation and efficiency.
In this course, you will find practical lessons that cover various types of work within Maximo. Detailed examples and additional resources will be provided to enhance your learning experience. I encourage you to share your tips and insights, fostering a collaborative environment for Maximo users worldwide.
Join me on this journey to unlock the full potential of Maximo and enhance your operational efficiency with these invaluable tips! Enjoy the course!
