In the course we discuss mostly techniques and "tricks" that can be done with a "normal" electronic system onboard (without any PC and/or advanced navigation software involved).

There is no need to be a math expert or a PhD in physics to understand how to leverage numbers onboard! But nowadays these are becoming skills increasingly important and a crew member who knows how to leverage and deal with electronics onboard is a great asset for his/her team and can lead to improve the performance.
